This is the long version of the SEO monitoring product page . That page tells you what you need it for. This one tells you what it looks like inside the application.
A single word in your source code
A single word in your source code can make your most important page invisible to Google. It usually happens unnoticed during an update, and nobody spots it until the traffic drops. That often takes weeks, and every one of those days costs visibility you worked hard to build.
What you get out of it
- You hear about it in hours, not in weeks. Your most important pages are checked daily from Pro, weekly on the free plan, and much more closely after an update if you want.
- The alert tells you what to do. You get the old and the new value side by side, not just the news that something has changed.
- You do not need technical SEO knowledge. You enter an address, the wizard takes care of the rest. From your sitemap we suggest the pages you earn your money with.
- Getting started costs nothing. One URL is included in the free plan already and is checked weekly.
And one honest boundary: SEO monitoring is not an SEO suite. It does no keyword research, no rank tracking and no backlink audit. It makes sure your pages stay visible to Google, which makes it a complement to an SEO suite rather than a replacement for one.
The watch after a change to your website
The biggest risk does not come from everyday operations, it comes from the hours after an update. That is exactly what the intensive check is for: you switch it on with one click, we then check the page hourly for 24 hours instead of at the normal rhythm, and once the period is over it switches back on its own.
That way you notice a mistake in the window in which it is still cheap to fix, instead of only at your next look at the report.
Before and after instead of “something has changed”
You mark one state as good, once. That reference point, the baseline, is the yardstick from then on. Every check is held against it, and the alert shows the old and the new value right next to each other.
That is the difference between an alert that worries you and an alert you can work with immediately. In the overview the critical cases float to the top automatically, so you do not have to search.
When your own site locks Google out
Not every loss of visibility is in your source code. Sometimes it is a new protection rule at your host or security provider that turns the Google bot away with an error. To your visitors the page then looks perfectly normal, to Google it is closed.
We flag that case explicitly as blocked and name the provider that is turning us away, instead of simply reporting “all fine”. The same applies when we cannot reach a page at all: that is how it appears in the report, and it never counts as a success.
Typical situations
- After every update: switch on the intensive check and have your most important pages watched through the critical hours.
- Money pages and product pages: pin down the canonical URL and get alerted when a change in the CMS moves it to another domain.
- Protection against staging accidents: when your robots.txt suddenly excludes a money page, you hear about it within hours instead of after weeks.
- Changes to your protection software: when a new security rule turns the Google bot away, you see that as blocked, including the provider.
What exactly gets checked
robots.txt: is your URL allowed for the configured bot at all?<meta name="robots">:noindex, nofollowand the full set of directives.X-Robots-Tagin the HTTP header: the same effect, but easy to miss, for instance after a change to your CDN.<link rel="canonical">: points where it should, and not to staging.
Every check ends with a clear result (ok, warning, critical, fetch_failed, blocked_by_waf or rate_limited) plus the comparison against the baseline. That way you see at a glance whether anything has changed since the last successful run.
By default we check the delivered HTML response without executing JavaScript. If your page only builds its content in the browser, you enable JavaScript rendering from the Business plan for individual checks, within your monthly allowance. How much of it is left is shown in the wizard before you switch it on.
What that looks like

Step 1 of the wizard: you enter the address to be checked. From your sitemap we suggest the most important pages, so you do not have to work out what should be monitored first.

Step 5: switch JavaScript rendering on or off. The hint shows straight away how much your plan has left this month, so there is no surprise at the end of it.

The overview of an active check: the result at the top, and next to it whether the check ran with JavaScript. One glance tells you whether the page is delivered and allowed to be indexed.

All four checked signals (robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical) with their current value and status. Every card opens up and shows the comparison in detail.

The history: at the top the reference point you marked as good, below it the most recent checks with their result. That way you see immediately when something changed.

A sample alert for a detected noindex: not “something has changed”, but a compact table with the old and the new value. You know in ten seconds what to do.

The overview across several checks. The critical cases float to the top automatically, so you do not have to scroll.

While the intensive check is running you see it as a banner at the top, including a countdown until it switches off automatically.
Plans
| Plan | SEO URLs |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 URL (weekly check) |
| Pro (9.90 EUR/month) | 5 URLs |
| Business (34.90 EUR/month) | 25 URLs |
| Agency (79 EUR/month) | 100 URLs |
| Enterprise | on demand |
From Pro the pages are checked daily, from Business every 6 hours on request. JavaScript rendering is included in the monthly allowance from Business. Every plan ships with the full set of signals; there is no reduced version of the check.
How we fetch your pages
- We fetch one address per check, plus the
robots.txtonce per host (cached for 30 minutes). - We respect rate limits and back off when a page turns us away.
- We do not crawl your site: no link traversal, no stored session data.
- Our public bot page explains how to allow our SEO monitor through your protection software, so the check does not fail at your own firewall.
Getting started
Create your first SEO check straight from the dashboard: pick an address, enable the signals, set a reference point, done. Daily checks are preset from Pro, and you add the intensive check with one click before an update.
