SEO Monitoring: Catch an accidental noindex before Google does

Monitor robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and canonical URLs on the pages that drive your traffic. Get paged when SEO breaks — typically after a deployment.

SEO Monitoring for live24h

An accidental noindex after a deployment can cost you weeks of organic traffic before anyone notices. live24h continuously checks the SEO signals on your most important URLs and alerts you the moment they change.

What it looks like

SEO check wizard, step 1: enter URL with sitemap suggestions

Step 1 of the wizard: you enter the URL you want to monitor — live24h reads your sitemap and suggests your top money-pages so you don’t have to think about what to watch first.

Wizard step 5: JS rendering toggle with quota hint

Step 5: toggle JavaScript rendering on or off. The quota hint shows exactly how many JS renderings your plan has left this month — no surprises at the end of the billing cycle.

Detail view, Overview tab, with JS-rendered badge

Overview tab of an active SEO check: verdict pill „OK” on the left, JS-rendered badge right next to it — one glance tells you whether the page is being served and is indexable.

Detail view, Signals tab, with four signal cards

Signals tab: all four monitored signals (robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical) with current values and status — every card is clickable for the raw-data diff.

Detail view, History tab, with baseline and result rows

History tab: the baseline card on top with the state you marked as „good”, then the recent runs with verdict pills below. You can see at a glance when something started to drift.

Alert email for detected noindex with diff table

Sample alert email for noindex_detected: no „something has changed” filler — a compact diff table with the old and new value. Ten seconds to know what to do.

List with mixed SEO verdicts (OK, Warning, Critical)

Overview list across several SEO checks: a mix of ok, warning and critical — the critical ones float to the top automatically so you don’t have to scroll.

Detail view with active deployment watch banner

When Deployment Watch is active, you see it as a banner at the top: the check runs hourly instead of daily, with a countdown until automatic deactivation after 24 hours.

What we watch

  • robots.txt — is your URL allowed for the configured user-agent?
  • <meta name="robots">noindex, nofollow and the rest of the directive set.
  • X-Robots-Tag HTTP header — same directive surface, easy to forget after CDN-config changes.
  • <link rel="canonical"> — points where it should, not to staging.

Each check produces a verdict (ok / warning / critical / fetch_failed / blocked_by_waf / rate_limited) plus a diff against the baseline, so you can tell at a glance whether something changed since the last successful run.

Typical use cases

  • After every deployment — turn on Deployment Watch for 24 hours; we’ll check the URL every hour instead of daily until you turn it off.
  • Money-pages and product pages — pin the canonical URL, get alerted if a CMS change moves it to a different domain.
  • Staging-leak guard — if your robots.txt suddenly disallows a money-page, you find out within hours, not weeks.
  • WAF / Cloudflare changes — if a security policy starts returning 403 to Googlebot, we mark it blocked_by_waf and tell you who’s blocking.
