The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. live24h Monitoring Service

As part of using our monitoring service, we process the following data:

  • Account data: Email address, name, password (encrypted) upon registration
  • Check configurations: URLs and hostnames of monitored services, check intervals, notification settings
  • Monitoring data: Status values, response times, error messages, SSL certificate information from monitored endpoints
  • Notification data: Email addresses and webhook URLs for alert notifications
  • Usage data: Login times, feature usage, selected plan

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfillment).

Storage duration: Account data is removed upon account deletion. Monitoring data is stored for 30 to 365 days depending on the plan and then automatically deleted.

6. Authentication

For user authentication, we use Amazon Cognito (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg). During registration and login, the following data is transmitted to Amazon Cognito:

  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • IP address (for abuse protection)

Amazon Web Services processes data in the EU (Frankfurt). A data processing agreement (DPA) exists with Amazon Web Services. More information: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure authentication).

7. Payment Processing

For payment processing, we use the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland).

During payment, the following data is transmitted to Stripe:

  • Name, email address
  • Payment information (credit card data, IBAN)
  • Billing address
  • Transaction amount

We do not store any complete payment data ourselves. This data is processed and stored exclusively by Stripe. A data processing agreement (DPA) exists with Stripe.

8. Email Delivery

For sending transactional emails (registration confirmations, password resets, monitoring alerts, invoices), we use the service Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (SES) (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg).

The following data is transmitted to AWS SES:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Content of the respective email

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfillment). A data processing agreement (DPA) exists with Amazon Web Services. Data processing takes place in the EU (Frankfurt, eu-central-1).

Additionally, Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Kopenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) serves as a fallback provider for transactional emails and future marketing communications. A data processing agreement (DPA) exists with Brevo. Brevo’s servers are located in the EU.
