What the extension detects in TYPO3

Site scan

Sites, domains and languages are read from the TYPO3 site configuration – instead of being pieced together manually.

Multi-site ready

Projects with multiple domains are monitored in a structured way, without forgetting an important site.

SSL & domain

Certificate and domain expiry automatically become checks per site – with timely warnings (domain 30 days ahead).

SEO & login

robots.txt, sitemap and the backend login become visible as a monitoring topic.

Scheduler heartbeat

When the TYPO3 Scheduler extension is active, recurring tasks can be monitored as a heartbeat.

Website Health Score

A value from 0 to 100 combines General, SEO and TYPO3 signals.

TYPO3 projects deserve monitoring with structure

TYPO3 is often used where websites are business-critical: B2B, public institutions, universities, associations, SaaS marketing sites, portals and agency projects with multiple domains. For exactly these, the live24h extension makes monitoring tangible – in the TYPO3 backend in the Site Management → live24h Monitor module group, or via CLI.

Operators and teams don’t just see a technical list, but a clear picture: which sites matter, which operational processes should be monitored and how well the project is already protected. The extension only creates the configuration – the live24h platform takes over the ongoing checks.

  • Agencies set up monitoring right after project handover.

Installation and requirements

The extension is installed via Composer:

composer require live24h/website-monitor-typo3
vendor/bin/typo3 extension:setup

Requirements: TYPO3 12.4 to 13.4 LTS, PHP 8.1 to 8.3 and an outbound connection to https://api.live24h.eu. The scan runs in the backend module or via CLI (vendor/bin/typo3 live24h:monitor:scan). Listing in the official TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER) will follow.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a dedicated TYPO3 extension worthwhile? TYPO3 projects often have multiple sites, clear responsibilities and higher requirements for traceability. A guided monitoring flow fits better than manual one-off checks.

Is this only meant for agencies? No. TYPO3 monitoring fits companies, SaaS operators, public institutions, portals and technical teams just as well. Agencies additionally benefit from repeatable rollouts.

Backend or CLI? Both. The backend wizard is customer-friendly, while the CLI supports technical teams and agencies with repeatable rollouts.

What does the extension cost? Nothing – it’s included in every live24h plan. Your plan only determines the scope of your checks.
